Mobile phones are devices that link without wires to land lines. Transmitting the human voice over radio started with Reginald Fessenden’s invention with communicating from the shore to ships via the radio telephone system. Before the mobile telephone came into extensive use there some devices that preceded it. The development of the mobile telephone system initially began when these devices began to be used on army trains running between Berlin and Zossen. This was followed with installing the devices on other trains. During the “Second World War”, the military extensively used the radio telephone system in the shape of handsets, which were available since the 1940’s. Early devices were quite heavy, consumed an inordinate amount of power and could only be used for short conversations. Later, the Bell Telephone Company introduced a telephone system that could be installed in automobiles and was used to make and receive calls effortlessly.
