Here is some details about topic: An Analysis of Employee Turnover and Job SatisfactionThe purpose of this quantitative correlational study is to determine the job satisfaction level of retail employees at a shopping mall. A survey instrument will be used to obtain information from retail employees at the shopping mall. The survey will be a written questionnaire that will be self-reporting and anonymous. Demographic independent variables such as age, gender, marital status, job title, and work shift will reveal information that can be used to improve job satisfaction. This data will be used to determine if there is a relationship between the dependent variable of employee turnover and the independent variable of job satisfaction.The population group being studied will be the employees of the 85 retail stores at City Mall. It is expected that the results of this study will reveal the employee job satisfaction level and how it correlates with employee turnover. Knowing and understanding the job satisfaction level of employees can proactively prevent employee turnover. Employee turnover results in productivity decline, poor morale, and lower profits. The information obtained from this research will help organizations understand what facets of job satisfaction can help prevent turnover at retail stores.
